Gist of the film
The movie is about supernatural powers that are believed to reside amongst us and their means to try to communicate with the real world in order to fulfill certain things that they failed to do during their lives.

Things that make this movie a winner
'Simple and conscise' are the words best suited to describe this movie. There are no usual loud sounds, eery dark corners, no squeaking doors, no typical old women to scare young kids with their make-up. The movie wins in its simplicity and its inherent focus on the story rather than using visual effects and abrupt sounds/jerks to make the audience flinch in their seats.

A happy and content family of manohar (Madhavan) becomes the only witness to the communication from souls that have been wandering at a place which had the address "13B". Only Madhavan is able to sense the stark connection between the incidents that happen in his family to the incidents being portrayed in a serial that plays daily at 1 PM (13:00 hours to be precise). Once the truth sinks in, there is a mad rush and an uncharacteristic interest on part of Madhavan to keep himself aware of everything that happens in the serial, with an intention to try and avert things that could mean harm to his family.

The plot gets even murkier post interval when there are facts being laid out to justify the strange incidents that have plagued his family. The climax is good and keeps the audience waiting to see who actually is responsible for all this and how the once happy family can get back to its old happy days.

Madhavan has done a fair job at acting after his good performance in RHTDM failed to win any accolades.Hope this performance turns the tables in his favor this time around.Others to watch out in the film are Sachin Khedekar as the family doctor.

The movie is a good watch for the ones who find English horror to be too gory and voilent and this film conveys the message that even Indian film-makers can do a fair job at horror, after a lot of debacles like 'darna manaa hai', 'darna zaroori hai', 'Raaz 2' etc. Must be watched in a theater.
